Nu metal usually really captures some of the worst of metal with the whiny, "I'm super edgy" vocals and riffs a 5 year old could play. This band, however, takes the entire genre, bends it over and gives it a spanking with the mathcore paddle. The riffs are disgustingly heavy and usually require insane skill to play and whiny vocals? I dont think so, they either sound rabid and powerful or soulful and wonderful. I didn't expect to love this as much as I did but I've had it on repeat for months.

Classic-style Hardcore with a great distinctive sound. I hope they play or read "New Years Eve" at shows. For some reason the thought of a bunch of moshing punks slowing down to take in a poem makes me smile.
